FeBI co-Founder and CSO secures Australia’s Economic Accelerator Seed Grant

FeBI co-Founder and CSO, Dr Gawain Mccoll, secures AEA Seed Grant.

We are thrilled to announce that FeBI Technologies co-Founder and CSO, Associate Professor Gawain Mccoll, has secured a $322k Seed Grant through Australia’s Economic Accelerator program. The funding will support work to continue developing our novel blood test based on quantum sensing that improves diagnostic sensitivity and management of iron related disorders.

“Inaccurate iron testing has the potential to cause major health consequences, for women in particular," says Associate Professor McColl. “FeBI gives an extremely accurate readout of iron levels. It will mean better outcomes for patients and healthcare systems.”

This project is a collaboration between Florey researchers and physicists based at University of Melbourne and CSIRO.
