FeBI Technologies industry partner on successful Quantum 2032 Challenge application
We are excited to announce that FeBI Technologies are an industry partner on a recently awarded Quantum 2032 Challenge (Q2032) project led by Clare Minahan at Griffith University: Strike while the iron is hot: Revolutionising iron deficiency detection to elevate athlete health performance and health ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The STRIKE project secured $5394k and aims to accelerate the translation of quantum technology into scalable commercial products and services by advancing quantum sensors for the ultrasensitive measurement of iron. Better measurement of iron status is particularly important for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and girls, who are disproportionately affected by iron deficiency.
The FeBI team looks forward to working with all of the partners on this project including Erik Streed, Kerry Hall, Carel Pretorius, University of Melbourne, Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS), Pathology Queensland and Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
